Our Physicians

Dr. Hashim is a Psychiatrist board certified by the American board of psychiatry and neurology. He additionally has a special interest in child & adolescent psychiatry and completed a fellowship in child & adolescent psychiatry at St Vincent’s Hospital In New York, New York.  Dr. Hashim has practiced extensively in both the inpatient and outpatient practice setting and has served as an attending psychiatrist at Brylin Hospitals for the Child & Adolescent Inpatient unit and the adult inpatient unit.  Additionally, he served as Medical Director of Eastern Niagara Hospitals Child & Adolescent Psychiatry inpatient unit.  In 1995 he began his outpatient practice and offered services to children, adolescents, and adults.  In 2015 he relocated his practice to its present location and spends his time working with children, adolescents, and adults in the outpatient setting.  He provides comprehensive assessments and follow up visits for medication management and psychotherapy.  He is experienced in behavioral disorders, ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, PTSD, and many other emotional disorders experienced by patients.

Dr. Annalett joins our practice and is board certified by the American Board of psychiatry and neurology and additionally has an interest in the geriatric population. She is available for consults, psychiatric evaluations, medication Managemnt and is experienced in developing unique treatment plans for each patient she treats.

Our Psychologists

Katherine Miller, Ph.D. is a  licensed psychologist and provides psychotherapy and assessment services for patients from ages 3 through adulthood.  She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Educational Psychology and completed her doctoral internship and postdoctoral training at Devereux Children's Behavioral Health Services.  While there, she provided individual, group, and family therapy services to children and adolescents in a residential mental health treatment facility.  She also conducted comprehensive psychodiagnostic evaluations.  In addition, Dr. Miller worked as a School Psychologist at an elementary school in Pennsylvania, and she administered and interpreted cognitive, achievement, and behavioral testing for students with disabilities.  She provided recommendations for educational interventions to be implemented to support students' learning. 

Dr. Miller utilizes a cognitive-behavioral perspective in order to individualize goals and treatment plans for clients and families.  She provides therapy services using a dialectical-behavioral,  behavioral, and/or other skills-based approaches when needed. She takes a strength-based, ecological perspective. She is also available for cognitive, achievement, emotional, and behavioral testing.

 

 

Dr. Patricia Roy-Petrick is a licensed psychologist who offers psychotherapy and assessment services to adults.  She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the University of Rochester. She wrote her Master’s Thesis about factors that contribute to domestic violence in cohabitating couples. She earned her PhD from Ball State University where she wrote her dissertation exploring attitudes toward interracial couples. Dr. Roy-Petrick has over 20 years of experience working with individuals with various mental health disorders. She has completed specialized training in couples counseling, career counseling, treating trauma and other anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, and substance use disorders. She uses  cognitive behavioral approach to therapy with techniques from dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and other relevant approaches to help patients reach their goals.

Our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners

Jannet Harkins PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner board certified by the ANCC and sees patients including children, adolescents and adults. 

Jannet completed her undergraduate degree at Niagara University followed by her training as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner at D’Youville College in Buffalo NY. Jannet Harkins has an interest in treating patients with a variety of issues and has experience working in adult psychiatry, adolescent psychiatry, emergency psychiatry, and chemical dependency. She has worked for the BryLin Hospital, Eastern Niagara Hospital, and Erie County Medical Center. Jannet is also an adjunct faculty member at Niagara County Community College and Trocaire College. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, reading, binge watching the newest Netflix series.

Patricia Leone practices as a psychiatric nurse practitioner and joined Dr. Hashim in January 2014. Ms. Leone treats both child & adolescents as well as adults in the outpatient setting as well as in the inpatient setting. She holds admitting privileges at Eastern Niagara Hospitals in Lockport New York and devotes her knowledge and experience to the acute inpatient child & adolescents in need of being hospitalized for their mental health. Patricia offers her patients treatments appropriate for the presenting mental health issues and utilizes either pharmacological interventions or therapeutic treatment options and often combines both into her patients treatment plan. 
 
 

Krystal Osinski PMHNP is a western new York native, a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner certified across the life span available for psychiatric evaluations and follow up visits with children, adolescents, and adults. Krystal completed her undergraduate from Niagara County Community College followed by her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Daemen College.  She continued to pursue her passion for psychiatric nursing by attending D’youville College and completing her training as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Krystal has an interest in treating patients with mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, Schizophrenia and other related disorderswhile using a holistic approach. Krystal has extensive experience working in psychiatry both in the emergency and inpatient setting as staff nurse and charge nurse at Niagara Falls Memorial and ECMC in both the inpatient setting as well as CPEP and is available for appointments March 1, 2021. In her free time Krystal enjoys making annual trips to NYC to attend plays with her daughter, spending time with her daughter and new puppy, and never turns down a chance to spend some time shopping. Jasmine Solomon is a psychiatric nurse practitioner who completed her bachelors in nursing from D’Youville college and went on to Stony Brook University to earn her masters as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Ms Solomon has 8 years of experience as a nurse inpatient on the psychiatric units Buffalo General Hospital and Niagara Falls memorial in patient psychiatric unit. She is available for psychiatric evaluations, follow up visits of medication management and psychotherapy and is accepting appointments from March 2020. Jasmine treats a wide range of mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, PTSD, OCD across the lifespan. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family.

Our Physician Assistants

Greg Groth is a certified physician assistant and brings a diverse well-rounded background as he is experienced in primary care, psychiatry, and graduated from Dyouville locally. He strives to provide realistic quality care to patients of all ages and treats adults, teens, and offers both medication management and some psychotherapy.

 

 

Fred Kubus PA-C is a Physician Assistant who graduated from Touro University in Nevada and practiced for two years in the primary care setting.  In 2017 Fred joined Williamsville Psychiatry seeing patients in the speciality of psychiatry.  He treats various diagnoses and uses a collaborative approach to treatment and is experienced in both primary care and psychiatry. In his free time Fred enjoys watching sports and spending time with family.
