Dr. Patricia Roy-Petrick is a licensed psychologist who offers psychotherapy and assessment services to adults. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the University of Rochester. She wrote her Master’s Thesis about factors that contribute to domestic violence in cohabitating couples. She earned her PhD from Ball State University where she wrote her dissertation exploring attitudes toward interracial couples. Dr. Roy-Petrick has over 20 years of experience working with individuals with various mental health disorders. She has completed specialized training in couples counseling, career counseling, treating trauma and other anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, and substance use disorders. She uses cognitive behavioral approach to therapy with techniques from dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and other relevant approaches to help patients reach their goals.
